Ok so I have yet to do a read-a-thon this year I just don't have any reading buddies right now because of how my schedule is and I'm not a big fan of groups with more than maybe 4 people. I find that you end up with variety of reading paces, which it totally ok but if I get ahead and have to put the novel down to wait, I drift off and end up reading other things and then have a hard time getting back into the book...so yeah that my reason for being a little antisocial.
I missed Tome Topple this year which was this month but I am seeing all the video's and social media posts for it now and I think that I will be doing it next year... hopefully
RULES
- Books must have more than 500 pages
- They cannot be bind-up's/omnibus's *there in an exception I will get too
CHALLENGES
- Read a tome that is part of a series
- Buddy read a tome
- If you mostly read YA read an adult novel and vice versa.
- Read a Graphic Novel *which is my exception to the bind-up rule
