May - Wrap Up + Mini Reviews

I got so much reading done this month, actual reading too not just comic books or short stories. I had a lot of pressure (that I totally put on myself) from last month because I had read 40 books which was crazy. I read another series this month which was awesome and found a couple of new authors. Really hope summer continues this way!

  1. The Bellmaker, Brian Jaques *reread
  2. Retribution, Megg Jensen
  3. The Selection, Kiera Cass
  4. The Elite, Kiera Cass
  5. The One, Kiera Cass
  6. Happily Ever After (novellas of The Selection), Kiera Cass
    1. The Prince, Kiera Cass
    2. The Favourite, Kiera Cass
    3. The Queen, Kiera Cass
    4. The Guard, Kiera Cass
  7. The Hier, Kiera Cass
  8. The Crown, Kiera Cass
  9. The Martian, Andy Wier *I would recommend the book and the movie equally which never happens, but they are honestly both amazing and so much alike.
  10. The Cellar, Minette Walters *a twist on Jack Ketchums, The Girl Next Door, loved it!
  11. The Heroine Diaries, Nikki Sixx
  12. The Hatching, Ezekiel Boone
  13. Matched, Allie Condi
  14. Rage, Richard Bachman (Stephen King)
  15. Snowblind, Michael Mcbride

Wrap Up - March

The month of spring that was not, as we got more snow again! Audiobooks are still my main theme although I did read a couple paperbacks as well and picked up my ereader as well although I didn't get much of anything read on it.

  1. Clockwork Angel, Cassandra Clare
  2. Clockwork Prince, Cassandra Clare
  3. Clockwork Princess, Cassandra Clare
  4. The Coffin Dancer (Lincoln Rhyme #2), Jeffery Deaver
  5. Alice in Wonderland, Lewis Carol
  6. The Empty Chair, (Lincoln Rhyme #3) Jeffery Deaver
  7. The Dunwich Horror, HP Lovecraft *I listened to this on audiobook and it was amazing, I have put off reading Lovecraft for so long after my first few attempts years ago. I just kept getting caught in the language and diction and found it so frustrating I never finished anything I started. The audiobook was only and hour and a half I recommend this to any horror fan. Lovecraft was the horror pioneer.
  8. The Complete Aliens Omnibus: Volume One: (Earth Hive, Nightmare Asylum, The Female War), Steve and Stephani Perry
  9. A Great and Terrible Beauty (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy 1),  Libba Bray
  10. Rebel Angels (The Gemma Doyle Trilogy 2), Libba Bray
  11. Alice Through the Looking Glass, Lewis Carrol
  12. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Washington Irving
As you can see I did get a whole trilogy completed! yay me! and I got into a couple of classics, all in all it was a great reading month, even though I got into a bit of a slump during the last week.

The books that I started this month
  1. The Stone Monkey (Lincoln Rhyme #4), Jeffery Deaver
  2. The Sweet Far Thing, Libba Bray
