Conor O'Malley has been having nightmares, nightmares about a monster and now a monster has come to visit. But it is only A monster it is not The monster. This monster has a story to tell, in return Conor must tell him The Secret and if he doesn't... well there is a price for that too.
I went into this with high expectations and thought it was going to be a horrorish type read. While the novel was dark, and creepy with a heavy kind of atmosphere. it was not horror. It is haunting, captivating, beautiful and I loved it. I Read it in one sitting, just couldn't put it down. I can't say too much without spoiling anything but this will be something I will reread over and over.
