Book Review - Finders Keepers

For readers, one of life's most electrifying discoveries is that they are readers - not just capable of doing it (which Morris already knew), but in love with it. Hopelessly. Head over heels. The first book that does that is never forgotten, and each page seems to bring fresh revelation, one that burns and exalts :Yes! That's how it is! Yes! I aw that, too! And of course, That's what I think! That's what I FEEL! - Stephen King

This is one of the best quotes because it is SO true.

The highest rating I have given to a book this year! It is phenomenal, amazing, twisted, dark and creepy. I love the characters, I love how there are two stories that blend together seamlessly. King is a master there are no strange leaps in logic or plot holes big enough to drive a car through. It is eerily realistic, a must read!
This is the second novel in the trilogy and it has been almost a year since I started it. Which for me is a very long time but I still remember Mr. Mercedes clearly. This is one of the few trilogies that I am purposefully reading slowly. There is so much to take in and they are such great novels. One of my favourite things is the POV, in both novels we have had the villain as well as the hero's side. Even more enjoyable is the lack of "villain angst" where it turns out our bad-guy has a troubled passed and is really more misunderstood "a product of nurture" or lack there of. Which is one of the most annoying trends that has turned up in the past few years. I could go on and on but I am trying not to include spoilers!

-You just HAVE to read this trilogy!!!
