Book Review l The Truth About Alice

The Truth About Alice
Jennifer Mathieu
209 Pages
YA / Fiction / High School / Contemporary
8.5 Stars

I found this at the library and it was the cover that initially caught my eye. As soon as I read the synopsis I knew it was going to be a one-sitting read. It immediately brought 13 Reasons Why (Jay Asher) to mind, only it is the flip side of the story. It is why the high-school-social-queen decided to mark her friend as a pariah or why the football jock exaggerated a kiss into third base.

I can't say to much about this book or it will give everything away but if you were a fan of 13 Reasons Why, check this out.

If you were not a fan of 13 Reasons Why especially if it is because of the positive / encouraging tone that came with the suicide message (that not seeking help was an ok choice) Still check out this book, it has a much healthier mindset.
