1. "It’s pronounced like Cady” - Which fictional character’s names did you get completely wrong?
The Books of Pellinor Quartet, Allison Croggon
2. “She doesn’t even go here!” - Which character would you like to place in a fictional world from another book or series?
Karou from the Daughter of Smoke and Bone, into Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunterverse
Both are semi-reality semi fantasy realm novels, both involve supernatural and otherworldly species. Any myth based gods/mortals semi reality novels would work well with the Darkhunterverse acctually.
3. “On Wednesdays we wear pink!” - Repetition. Repetition. Which book gave you dejavu of another book whilst reading it?
Im choosing one very specific scene for this one. The scene with Shelob reminded me so much of Stephen King's It.
4. "You all have got to stop calling each other sluts and whores. It just makes it okay for guys to call you sluts and whores." - Which book gave you the complete opposite of girl power feels? 50 Shades of Grey, EL James
It was not the erotica/BDSM factor, although there is not normally girl power found in those books. In Ana with her personality, and the character interactions it was shame for women everywhere.
5. “You go Glen Coco!” - Name a character you felt like you wanted to cheer on whilst reading.
Samwise Gamgee, Lord of the Rings.
These were such long books and so detailed I got so attached to all of the characters that even though I mostly knew the outcome of the story I was still freaking out over the battle scenes. *hate to use books twice but have too
6. “Get in loser, we’re going shopping!” How long do you typically spend at a book shop?
I can spend anywhere from a few minutes browsing while waiting for a coffee, to hours wandering and searching. I don't very often buy anything but I love looking at covers and comparing different editions, seeing whats on the displays.
7. “It’s not my fault you’re like in love with me or something!” - Which character would have to get out a restraining order on you, if they were real?
Bones, Night-Huntress series, Jeanenie Frost
8. “I can’t help it that I’m popular.” - Which overhyped book were you cautious about reading?
Every Heart a Doorway, Seanan Mcguire
9. “She’s a life ruiner. She ruins peoples lives.” - We all love Regina George. Name a villian you
just love to hate.
Brady Heartsfield aka, Mr Mercedes, Stephen King.
10. “I’m not like a regular Mom, I’m a cool Mom.” - Your favourite fictional parents.
Such a typical answer but the Weasly's from Harry Potter.
Looking at this question I realized most books I read one or both parents are missing/ not mentioned or they are horrible parents.
11. “That is so Fetch!” - Which book or series would you love to catch on?
There are SO many... Cainsville, Kelley Armstrong
12. “How do I even begin to explain Regina George?” - Describe your
ideal character to read about.
I love the smart-assed, dark brooding, almost dislikable main characters. Where they are not angsty or moody in a childish way, dry humour, strong silent types, male perspective... Gabe from Cainsville, Kelley Armstrong or John Taylor, Nightside, John Green
13. “I just have a lot of feelings.” - What do you do when a book gives you a bad case of ‘the feels’?
I am not much of a crier although I should never say never because it happens, I normally close the book, take a minute and make tea with too much cream and sugar.
14. “Nice wig Janice, what’s it made of?” "Your Mom’s chest hair!” - Which characters one liners would you love to claim for your own?
John Taylor, The Nightside by Simon R Green
15. “Boo, you whore.” - Name a time a characters decision has made you roll your eyes
Gwen, Precious Stone Trilogy. Kerstine Gier. I don't really remember this series so well as far as details go but I do remember the emotion of just "REALLY?!" almost the whole trilogy.
