Jackson Oz has known there is something wrong with the animals for years, and it is not just the animals in the good Ol' USA. A world wide epidemic of unheard of animal interaction and activity is finally detected by people of consequence. With extreme unprovoked aggression the animal kingdom rises to reclaim the world.
It was the Tv series that lead me to the book. I have to say I am less than in love with both. The first half of the TV series was amazing and held so much promise but getting into the second half and then into the second season everything got to be ridiculous. I grabbed the large print novel from the library which is why it had so many pages and yet made for such a fast read. The last half of the book was great although the first half was very slow. The characters were a little flat and there was little to no development at all, I love the premise of the idea and something between the TV show and the book could be almost plausible. On a note separate from this book; James Patterson is such a popular author that I will probably try out another one of his books but I am not in a rush. I can see the popular appeal but as an advanced reader I find so many areas lacking.
